introduce my friend
The file above is about introducing my friend in Chinese who is Tonhom. In this project, I had to write about her basic background information such as number of people in her family, where she studies etc., and daily routine such as when she wakes up, when she goes to school, and when she goes to bed etc which I wrote more than 10 sentences. Also, I drew her pictures to show the evolution of her life by using many pencil colors. Moreover, after finishing the poster, I had to record a video to show my speaking skills ,so I let my friend to help me to do this, and it can be seen that my speaking skill has improved a lot .Not only it was fun to do it ,but also it made me be more fluent in writing and speaking English.
To connect it with MUIDS's ESLOs, I used articulate communication which was using writing process and strategies to write for different purposes and audience. As it can be seen from my work that I used my hand writing to write what I learned.

transportation
Another project that I have done is about transportation. In this unite, I have learned about the vocabularies of transportation and how to put them in the sentence. Therefore, my Chinese teacher, Ms. Cai Lin, assigned us to create a poster which contained those words. First of all, I opened book and internet to find some words, then, I chose 10 ,and wrote them down on the paper. I used various color of pencil to write because I did not want to make the reader confused. Also, I wrote the meaning in English so that everyone can understand the meaning. Moreover, I drew picture of each vocabulary to make it more clearly. It was a great project which made me know more about Chinese words.
Lastly, again, to connect with the school's ESLO,I was an innovative thinker who created an original work. As it can be seen from the picture that everything in the poster, I wrote and drew it myself which I did not copy anyone else. |
Q4 - a book for learners
In this quarter, I create a mandarin book for beginner students to learn. In this book, it includes the 10 vocabularies about colors and fruits. It is very easy to read because I used various colors and I drew pictures which help the reader to clearly understand. Before doing this, I did some researches about the word such as apple and banana etc. To connect with School's ESLOs, I was an innovative thinker who created an original work as it can be seen that I did this work myself from my knowledge and creativity.
