my nasa rocket
One of the project that I am very proud of is making the rocket. First of all, everyone in the class had to form a group of five ,so my team had Tong, Nadia, Jay, Milly, and I, then, we separated into 2 groups which were experimenting and reporting group. I was in experiment group so I started by making the launcher by using plastic tubes. During the trials, I also helped my friends to measure the amount of the reactants which were vinegar and baking soda. However, I helped people in reporting team to find some information that related to our topic such as chemical equation and chemical reaction. As a result, we were successful by the rocket hit the target at 4 points. By doing the research, I have known a lot more knowledge about chemistry. For example, the proper amount of reactants to make the rocket be able to fly, and I was better at calculating mol of reactants. Therefore, if I have a chance to do this kind of project again, I will plan the schedule more carefully and do more research to understand about the movement more.
Lastly, to connect with the MUIDS's ESLOs, I was a leader for the future who used common objective for group work. As we known that, to done this project, we had to have a strong group work by helping each other ,and as we had the same purpose, so we set out goal to complete our task.

organic compound In the fourth quarter, I was assigned to do a research on specific organic compound, and I chose Taddol as my topic of this research. First of all, I found information about this compound such as physical properties, chemical properties etc. Also, I downloaded a program call MarvinSketch to draw this compound. After I had finished all of the tasks, I put all of them in the infographic and decorated it.
To connect with the school's ESLOs, I was an innovative thinker who created an original work as it can be seen from my project which I did draw and paraphrase all of the information myself. |
